How to create an account and find work on freelancing websites

Freelancing websites are where you can advertise your skills and buyers post their work. Creating an account at freelancing websites is very easy and FREE. Just go to this page and create an account on one or more sites.

If you have not already please read this general information about earning online. 

Here are few thing too keep in mind when creating an account.

  1. Use a professional email address
  2. Use professional username. Avoid name such as cutePrincess, RajaOfRawalpindi, and Batman2004
  3.  Provide as much information as possible
  4. Upload a professional looking photo
One you have complete your profile do the following.

  1. Provide complete details of your education.
  2. Provide detail of your previous projects/ work in portfolio section.
  3. Upload CV, pictures of your work and provide links. 
  4. Take skill tests related to your skills

Bid, Bid, and Bid on projects

This is the important and difficult part of online earning. Buyers post projects on freelancing websites. You bid on these projects (and so do many other freelancers from all over the world). It is just like selling in any market. You have to convince buyer you are the most suitable candidate for this job. In the covering letter of your bid highlight your portfolio/ past work, your skills and talents briefly. 

In start most important goal is to get some jobs and good reviews on your profile. So keep your price low and deliver the best possible work. Good reviews earned in start will go long way in getting you more work and better price in future. 

Remember earning online is not very easy, specially in start. So do not worry if your bids do not get accepted and keep bidding.
