It can difficult to get first orders in fiverr. Here are few tips that will help you get those first orders. 

Gig Image

Your Gig image should clearly state the purpose. It should look good and readable in thumbnail format. Because that is what buyer will see first. 

Add second and third gig Images to add details. Highlight your service, why should they order from you and offer extras. 

Reasonable Pricing

At start you do not have many reviews so it will be difficult to compete with other freelancers. However you can set your price lower to get more chances of winning the order. At this point reviews are more important then earning good amount. 

Deliver on time and Keep Customer Happy

Make sure you deliver your orders on agreed time and as per your delivery times set on your gig. To get orders in future and make your gig appear more in search results this is important. 

The whole purpose of first orders is to get that five star review. Keep eyes on the price and tolerate even if buyer is illogical or rude. However if it is completely out of your control, report it to fiverr. 

Send offers to Buyer Requests

If you are not getting orders of would like to get more orders you can send offers to buyer requests.  Do not create a buyer request. It will be deleted and you might even be banned from Fiverr.  On Fiverr website menu. Click Buyer Requests (click more if it is not visible) You will see a list of buyer requests.  If you can do work in the given budget and time click send offer Choose a gig and set price and delivery time etc.  Send and hope for the best.  You can send 10 offers each day.
